We have to put our hands up and admit we’ve known about this for a while and it’s probably not a very well kept secret by now, but we’ve just been waiting for the right time to announce it.
Rossa, our main competition organiser and past winner of Trouble Brewing‘s own brewing competition, has confirmed that the guys at Trouble have offered to brew a batch of the winning beer from the National Homebrew Club’s upcoming national homebrew competition! It is hoped that the winning beer will therefore be on widespread distribution through-out Ireland — an enormous claim to fame for any homebrewer!
“This prize really is forming the icing on the cake along with so many other fantastic prizes,” said Rossa. “It’s really great that the National Homebrew Club volunteers have put so much effort in, and with a prize fund running into thousands of euro, thanks to the generosity of our many supporters, and a judging panel to match, this is shaping up to be a competition to rival anything done abroad.”
